-THREAT ASSESSMENT MANAGER

The University of Iowa is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Threat Assessment Manager. This position will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of a Threat Assessment program. Additional responsibilities include consultation with units on campus concerned about potential violence, assessment of individuals who may be contemplating aggressive behavior, and training faculty, staff and students in diffusing difficult situations and utilizing the Threat Assessment program. - EAP PROGRAM MANAGER
                             
St. Luke's Hospital has a full-time Program Manager position available in the Employee Assistance Program.  This position is responsible for the management of the EAP, direct supervision of staff, department staffing, development & delivery of quality services, conducting corporate training, day-to-day operations, gathering & reporting data, helping to facilitate sales of new corporate accounts, compliance with applicable laws & regulatory standards and overseeing budgeting/billing.  Qualifications include a minimum of a Masters degree in social work, counseling (mental health, rehabilitation or marital & family counseling/therapy) or psychology.  A Masters degree in Nursing may be considered if holder is certified in psych nursing or psych nurse practitioner. Must have independent level license in IA or be CEAP.  Experience in psychotherapy preferred with extensive experience offering EAP counseling, crisis intervention & referral. Woodward Academy, a Sequel Youth & Family Services Program, is a residential treatment facility for male youth who are adjudicated delinquent or “child in need of assistance” (CINA).

Required Capabilities, Competencies & Qualifications:

      • Master’s degree in human services or related field with significant human service experience

      • Clinical counseling experience
      • Substance Abuse assessment experience

Key Responsibilities:

      • Provide face-to-face assessment, brief counseling
      • Provide telephone assistance and consultation services to employers, individuals, couples, and families
      • Telephone case management of management referrals
      • Consult with employers regarding work related issues
      • Member of a CISD Team (Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team)
